Roll The Dice is Peder Mannerfelt (The Subliminal Kid) and Malcolm Pardon and they are finally out with their debut album!
Staffan Linzatti is about to release his first debut album under the alias ”Forever Delayed”.
Staffan Linzatti has been producing techno music and touring around the world for half a decade, but as ”Forever Delayed”, Staffan has shut out the outside world and created a place where he wants you to disconnect from time and space and shift your thoughts towards what you feel.
Here are Staffan’s own words about the album.
”It all started with a blank sheet of paper and an urge to create a world.
A world without rules.
A world without time.
A world where all the seasons;
winter, spring, summer and autumn would be in constant battle for moments to shine.
This world would be whatever you wanted it to be.
In it´s initial stages, the element of time, the spatial dimensions and our concept of mass has been eliminated for the purpose of the tabula rasa. It was a way for me to shut out the outside world to imagine and realize what or where -ever place I wanted to create, visualizing the particular emotional scenario I wanted – through the musical ideas that came to mind.
One of the main purposes of this world is rejuvenation, another is focus priority . A place for me (and hopefully you) to visit and empty your being from the restraints of the common reality and recharge mind, body and soul.

Featured Artist | Par Grindvik: Techno Storyteller
Submitted by Bianca Von Baum
Techno Storyteller Par Grindvik, is a techno storyteller – there is a lot more to his beats than steely kick-drum patterns and gurgling bleeps. At the heart is his label, Stockholm LTD, which fosters sparks between word and sound by pairing each release with an eloquent poem or short vignette. Meaningful Techno?!.. perhaps.
Last weekend Par kicked off his short spin through the US with the Oktave crew for a cosmic techno treat at Underground, the latest dingy LES basement of choice for the Techno elite of NYC. On his downtime here in NYC, Grindvik kindly let us pick his mind about telling techno tales, his latest release, When Falls, and why there’s no magic recipe to success.
Halcyon: What are some recent memories and music that have inspired your creativity and what you are producing?
Par Grindvik: I would be lying if I said that I was filled up with inspiration. In fact I’ve been searching, trying really hard to find out what I want and where I want to go. Right now my biggest source of inspiration is my family and close ones, they bring me strength to go on with my ideas.
H: I am very interested when you write in the “about” part of Stockholm LTD that “each release tells its own story”. What is the story told by your latest release with Staffan Linzatti, When Falls?
P: I’m happy that you ask me this, nowadays it’s really hard to connect the listener with your thoughts and visions. I always get so happy when people find our small messages and actually take some time to reflect over its meaning. It’s not that important to me that they get the true meaning really, I want the listeners to frame their own pictures. But, as you are asking specifically about “When Falls” I will try to explain. When Falls is one of those places where time’s been still for ages, where everything and every day comes and goes as they do. Suddenly the present arrives and nothing will ever be the same again. The “When Fall” words that you ask about are told by this old citizen who never thought things would change or that he would ever leave. I believe that you can find ‘”When Falls” somewhere in Canada but who knows. Read more.. »

Bryan Kasenic (Bunker NYC) – serious heat, as usual.
Alland Byallo – Par’s track is KILLER!!!
Staffan Linzatti – this is one hell of a smorgasbord. each track lives it´s own life, yet they all contain that special ”something” that connects them. ubergood…

Brendon Moeller – staffan’s track is the one for me!
Philip Sherburne – man. ”tough life” is HEAVY. locks you into its own twisted world and won’t let you go. at least as good as ”stretched out on pavement,” if not better — hard to compare them, as the moods are so different. but this is blinding. much respect to mr. van rivers! ample tips of the hat to the other three tracks as well…

Check this great review of No Strange Waters Part 3 out.
Part 3 in the ”No Strange Waters” series is released today.
You can get a copy at Beatport.
Part Three
The year has come to an end.
Future is waiting.
There will be new kinds of living.
New kinds of music. New definitions of Techno.
Here follows a preview of where we are heading.
A fresh breeze of the past, the present and the future, Van Rivers’ ”Tough Life” leaves
no one without a trace.
By merging elements of different nature, the result may manifest itself in an unusual manner. The different layers of Staffan Linzatti’s ”Construct” might sound like each others complete opposite but in practice they form the shape of one.
”Common Disorder” was born out of tragedy. The loss of someone close. Simon Haydo’s story must be heard from beginning to end!
A suburban London basement. Sneakers, tight jeans, camouflage-net, stroboscope and smoke. ”I´m Weird Like You” is Pär Grindvik’s homage to dance music with bleeps and the early nineties – dance as fast as you can.
1 – Van Rivers – Tough Life
2 – Staffan Linzatti – Construct
3 – Simon Haydo – Common Disorder
4 – Pär Grindvik – I’m Weird Like You
